Privacy Policy for Stylist

Effective Date: August 22, 2026

Purpose: This notice explains how Classic Hair Hub handles personal information submitted by people applying to become independent Service Providers.

1. Scope of This Notice

This Provider Applicant Privacy Notice (“Applicant Notice”) explains how Classic Hair Hub (“Classic Hair Hub,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects personal information when an individual or business representative applies to become a Service Provider on ClassicHairHub.com or the Classic Hair Hub marketplace (the “Platform”).

This Applicant Notice supplements the Classic Hair Hub Privacy Policy. It applies during the provider application, review, verification, approval, onboarding, and related communications. If an applicant is approved, the Classic Hair Hub Privacy Policy also governs the provider account, public profile, bookings, payments, payouts, reviews, customer communications, and continuing use of the Platform.

2. Information You Provide

We may collect information you submit through a provider application, account, form, email, telephone call, document upload, interview, or other communication, including:

Identity and contact information, such as your legal name, preferred or professional name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, date of birth when reasonably required, and account credentials; business information, such as a business name, entity type, business address, website, social-media or professional-profile links, and business contact details; and service information, such as service categories, descriptions, prices, experience, availability, service areas, and proposed service locations.

We may also collect portfolio photographs or videos, profile photographs, logos, professional biography information, licenses, registrations, certifications, permits, salon or shop information, location approvals, insurance information, references, and other documents relevant to the application. Providers offering services that do not require professional licensure may state that status and provide other information reasonably necessary to review legal eligibility.

3. Identity, License, Exemption, and Eligibility Verification

We may use submitted information to verify identity, business status, professional credentials, legally exempt service status, service locations, insurance, experience, and other Platform eligibility requirements. Verification may include reviewing government or professional databases, public records, business websites, professional profiles, references, and information supplied by verification service providers.

Each applicant remains responsible for accurately identifying whether a license, registration, certification, permit, salon or shop license, location approval, or other authorization is required in every jurisdiction and location where services will be offered.

4. Information From Other Sources

We may receive applicant information from references, public professional profiles, licensing or business registries, government databases, identity or credential verification providers, fraud-prevention providers, payment processors, and other sources permitted by law.

If another person submits information about an applicant, that person should be authorized to provide it. We may compare information from different sources to identify errors, prevent fraud, verify eligibility, and protect Platform users.

5. Device, Usage, and Technical Information

When you access or submit an application through the Platform, we or our service providers may automatically collect information such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages viewed, referral URLs, dates and times of access, interactions with application features, approximate location derived from IP address, cookies, logs, and similar technical information.

We use this information to operate application functions, maintain security, prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, understand use of the Platform, and improve applicant experience.

6. Sensitive Personal Information

Depending on the application and onboarding stage, we may request information that may be treated as sensitive under applicable law, such as government identification information, professional credential numbers, tax information, financial or payout information, or precise location information if a feature requires it.

Applicants should not submit Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, health information, or other highly sensitive information unless the Platform or an authorized service provider specifically requests it for a legitimate application, verification, payment, tax, security, or legal purpose.

7. How We Use Applicant Information

We may use applicant information to receive and review applications; communicate with applicants; verify identity, qualifications, credentials, exemptions, service locations, and eligibility; prevent fraud and misrepresentation; assess safety and Platform suitability; request corrections or additional information; make application and onboarding decisions; create an approved provider account and profile; support payment, payout, and tax onboarding; provide technical and applicant support; enforce the Provider Application Terms and Platform policies; maintain records; improve the application process; and comply with legal obligations.

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval, publication of a profile, bookings, customers, or income.

8. Application Decisions

Authorized Classic Hair Hub personnel and service providers may review application information for eligibility, verification, safety, quality, legal, capacity, fraud-prevention, and business purposes. We may approve, conditionally approve, place on hold, request more information, or reject an application, subject to applicable law.

If information is incomplete or cannot be verified, we may be unable to complete the review. Applicants may contact us to correct material inaccuracies in information they submitted.

9. Provider Profiles and Public Information

Application information is not automatically made public merely because it is submitted. If an applicant is approved and activates a provider profile, certain information may become visible to customers or the public, such as the provider or business name, profile photograph, professional biography, portfolio content, services, prices, general service area or selected service locations, availability, qualifications, and later ratings or reviews.

Sensitive verification documents, government identification information, private license-verification records, tax information, payment details, and internal application notes are not intended for public display. Applicants should not place private or sensitive information in profile fields intended to be public.

10. How Applicant Information May Be Shared

We may share Provider Applicant information with trusted companies and professionals that help us operate, secure, and support Classic Hair Hub. These may include website-hosting, cloud-storage, email, application-management, payment-processing, identity-verification, security, customer-support, and professional-advisory service providers.

These recipients may access Applicant information only when reasonably necessary to provide their services, fulfill their own legal obligations, or as otherwise permitted by law.

Classic Hair Hub does not disclose an Applicant’s nonpublic personal information to Customers merely because the Applicant submitted an application.

11. Legal, Safety, and Business Disclosures

We may disclose applicant information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, subpoenas, court orders, or lawful government requests; verify professional or business status; investigate suspected fraud, unsafe conduct, or policy violations; enforce agreements; protect applicants, customers, providers, Classic Hair Hub, or others; establish or defend legal claims; or prevent unlawful activity.

If Classic Hair Hub is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, applicant information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

12. Background Checks and Consumer Reports

Classic Hair Hub may conduct or obtain background, identity, or safety screening only where permitted and considered appropriate. If a screening constitutes a consumer report or otherwise requires a separate disclosure, authorization, notice, or consent under applicable law, Classic Hair Hub or the screening provider will provide the required documents separately.

Acknowledging this Applicant Notice by checkbox is not intended to replace any separate authorization legally required for a background check or consumer report.

13. Payment, Payout, and Tax Onboarding

If an applicant is approved, Classic Hair Hub or an authorized payment processor may collect payment, payout, bank-account, taxpayer-identification, identity-verification, and related information needed to process transactions, issue payouts, prevent fraud, or meet tax and financial-reporting obligations.

Payment processors may independently collect and process information under their own privacy notices and legal obligations. Classic Hair Hub may not directly receive or store all financial details submitted directly to a payment processor.

14. Communications

We may use applicant contact information to send application confirmations, requests for information, verification notices, approval or rejection communications, onboarding instructions, policy updates, security notices, support responses, and other important application or account messages.

We may send promotional communications where permitted by law. Applicants may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the instructions provided, but may still receive necessary application, transactional, security, legal, or account communications.

15. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, operate application forms, detect security threats, prevent fraud, measure performance, and understand Platform usage. Browser settings may allow applicants to restrict cookies, although disabling necessary cookies may affect application features.

Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional choices or obtain consent for non-essential tracking technologies.

16. Data Retention

We retain applicant information for as long as reasonably necessary to review and document the application, communicate with the applicant, operate and secure the Platform, prevent duplicate or fraudulent applications, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet tax, accounting, regulatory, insurance, or other legal obligations.

Retention periods may differ for approved, rejected, incomplete, or withdrawn applications and for different categories of information. When information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable law and backup or recordkeeping requirements.

17. Data Security

Classic Hair Hub uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect applicant information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse. Access to nonpublic application information should be limited to persons and service providers with a legitimate need to use it.

No internet transmission, electronic storage system, or security measure can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Applicants are responsible for protecting their account credentials and should promptly report suspected unauthorized access.

18. Applicant Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on applicable law, applicants may have rights to request access to certain personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of certain information, a copy of certain information, information about processing or disclosures, withdrawal of consent where processing depends on consent, or other legally provided rights.

Certain information may be retained or excluded from a request where permitted or required for security, fraud prevention, legal claims, tax, accounting, transaction, dispute, recordkeeping, or other lawful purposes. We may take reasonable steps to verify identity and authority before responding.

19. State-Specific Privacy Rights

Residents of Florida, California, and other states may have additional privacy rights where the applicable state privacy law applies to Classic Hair Hub and the relevant processing activity. These rights may include access, correction, deletion, portability, and opt-out rights, subject to legal scope, thresholds, exceptions, and verification requirements.

Classic Hair Hub does not sell Provider Applicant personal information for monetary compensation. If we later engage in processing legally treated as a sale, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, targeted advertising, or another activity requiring an opt-out, we will provide the notice and choice required by applicable law. We will not unlawfully discriminate against an applicant for exercising an applicable privacy right.

20. Applicants Outside the United States

Classic Hair Hub is currently intended primarily for applicants and users located in the United States. If you apply from outside the United States, information may be transferred to, processed, and stored in the United States, subject to applicable law. Classic Hair Hub does not represent that provider participation is available in every jurisdiction.

21. Minors

Provider applications are intended only for individuals who are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. Classic Hair Hub does not knowingly accept independent provider applications from children under 18. If we learn that a minor submitted an application in violation of this requirement, we may close the application and delete information as appropriate and legally permitted.

22. Changes to This Applicant Notice

We may update this Applicant Notice to reflect changes in Platform features, application practices, service providers, technology, security, or legal requirements. When material changes are made, we may provide notice through the Platform, by email, or by another appropriate method where required by law. The Effective Date shows when the current version became effective.
